#Studio20Academy 1.0 — Successful, Effective

The first edition of #Studio20Academy was a real success.

Representatives from Studio20 franchises from all over Romania arrived to an exclusive retreat in the Carpathian Mountains on the morning of August 23, 2018. The participants were all excited for the first edition of Studio20 Academy.

The academy consisted of three full days of presentations, team building exercises, improvisation classes and fun. Additionally, one person from each studio team held a workplace improvement seminar for their colleagues.

Day 1 started with five seminar/Q&A sessions. Subjects like The Psychological Aspects of Webcam and How Should Male Trainers Interact with Models started some heated debates. The day continued with an improvisation and acting class led by well-known Romanian actors.

“I know that the acting class should have been about fun and games, but I feel it brought us all closer together,” explained Ana, one of the trainers from Studio20 Galati, which is the newest outlet among the Studio20 Franchise Network.

“The different games we played gave us all the opportunity to reveal some hidden talents. I found it very educational and it opened my eyes to who my colleagues are, how they view themselves and how I should never judge someone shy just based on their shell. The shyest of our group was an amazing storyteller and singer — that blew my mind,” she added.

Day 2 continued with more seminars and presentations about model support. After lunch, the group headed to an adventure park where they got to climb trees, zip line, play team paintball and try out archery.

“I loved playing paintball! My team was based of people I didn’t know that much, but we knew that working together is going to be the secret to the other team not ‘killing’ us with paintballs,” said Robert Vanderty, the first manager of Studio20 Network.

“I guess it’s just the same as in a studio — you never know who your team member is going to be but you have to work together to help the model succeed,” he added.

Day 2 ended with a Romanian dinner and bonfire party. Day 3 brought the last presentations and an award ceremony. The top three presentations, as voted by all the attendees, won cash prizes and trophies for their work and dedication.

“When Studio20 started almost six years ago, all of this was a nice dream. The concept of a cam studio franchise was not on the market, let alone an academy of excellence. I am truly grateful for having next to me people that have been with Studio20 from the start and more and more people that trust both the brand and our way of doing business,” said Mugur Frunzetti, Studio20 Franchise CEO.

Frunzetti explained that, though this first edition of the academy only involved studios from Romania, he is hoping to include the organization’s studios from Colombia, the United States and Hungary in the future.

“Studio20 Academy comes as a ‘thank you’ to all of those who believed and worked for it to be possible. A team that has fun, travels and learns together will be stronger and will always succeed together. I’m hoping the next edition will be much bigger and include all our teams,” he added.
