The concept behind PTMiFlyers was born in late 2011 when three guys with diverse approaches to the same basic problem converged.
One, an award-winning graphic designer, saw a solution in creating promotional flyers for clients who wanted to share their new design work over mobile networks. A second, who describes himself as “a serial entrepreneur and internet scientist,” spent hours envisioning a way to transform coffee-house bulletin board clutter into actionable mobile information. The third, a business owner intrigued by the power of SMS marketing, wanted to tie the reach of mobile keywords to the power of traditional marketing tactics.
After lamenting together over the problem, they decided to work together and create a solution. Combining state-of-the-art graphics with full-blown mobile interface technology and a comprehensive SMS marketing platform, PTMiFlyers’ mobile interactive flyers emerged.
PTMiFlyers is a marketing platform specifically tailored for adult entertainment and nightlife businesses. Consumers using Android or iOS devices text a keyword to a specified shortcode and receive links to information from participating brands. A click on the link downloads and displays whatever message the business wishes to disseminate in a graphically appealing format.
In addition to delivering special deals, directions, information, etc., the platform also captures the texter’s information and adds it to the merchant’s database, allowing the merchant to contact the consumer again, discretely, in the future. The company sees applications in several adult entertainment arenas, including nightclubs, websites, dating and private modeling.
