LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs), the annual event honoring trans excellence in adult entertainment, will make its return to the Avalon theater in Hollywood, California on March 12 and 14, 2027, the show’s organizers announced Tuesday.
“TEA Show season is just kicking off, and before we know it, we’ll be announcing our pre-nominations,” said TEA Executive Producer Kristel Penn. “I’m looking forward to a successful upcoming TEAs, and we’re looking forward to returning to our home at the Avalon.”
In keeping with the show’s tradition, the TEAs will kick off with its Official Pre-Party on March 12, which will be held at the Bardot, which is the Avalon’s connecting property. According to the announcement, additional information about the event will be announced in the coming weeks at theTEAShow.com.
First launched by leading trans studio Grooby as an online competition, the TEAs has evolved into a popular in-person event welcoming individuals from the trans adult industry from around the globe. In addition to the awards program itself, the event is known for its pre-party and the entertainment on offer throughout the event. Past performers have included the likes of porn performer, artist, Master Fetish Trainer, MC and global activist King Noire and trans performer pop trio The Gurls.
In previous years, major award categories for the TEAs have included the Clips4Sale Trans Creator of the Year, the Fan Choice Award, Pornhub Model of the Year, Chaturbate Trans Broadcaster of the Year, Best Internet Personality, Black TGirls Model of the Year and Transfixed Best Acting Award, among others.
While this year’s Mistress of Ceremonies has yet to be announced, for several years running the show has been hosted by award-winning trans performer Domino Presley, a Grooby fan favorite.
