Lucerne, Switzerland — Vendo, a payment facilitator for ecommerce that “help[s] clients reach their potential by increasing conversion and lifetime value while minimizing risks,” recently released its Vendo User Conference keynote.
The talk covers the effects of lockdown and re-opening. According to Vendo’s data, the last 30 days have seen increased traffic, lower conversion and an increase in total members as a result of reduced cancellations.
The keynote presentation describes some impacts of COVID-19 on subscription content businesses. You may view the presentation in full on YouTube here. It is embedded below as well. Slides from the presentation are available via Google docs here.
The presentation details COVID-19 effects in the US, Italy, Spain and Sweden, plus an overview of countries that have taken a strong track and trace approach including Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea.
Tom A., Vendo’s CTO said, “With their next-level data tools and analytics, Vendo isn’t just identifying the trends, they are predicting them. If you aren’t attending their insightful Zoom meetups, then you are not properly safeguarding your businesses in an unpredictable, COVID future.”
Steven G., Vendo’s Founder and CEO added, “Using tools to not only see your join/cancellation/rebill statistics for today, but also to predict for the coming months, especially during these times has been valuable but being able to then compare that with other programs and see if their data matches or differs from ours enables us to have more control over our where we direct our efforts.”
He continued, “During COVID, we’ve seen some numbers that deviate from what would normally be expected — so to see that we’re not alone in this, gives us the ability to see industry-wide trends and not just our own.”
The keynote kicked off discussion and networking at the Vendo User Conference, an exclusive event for clients to interact with each other and the Vendo team. The next Vendo User Conference will be announced soon.
