Short-form adult content platform RedGIFs announced that Poppy James has been selected as the site’s “Creator of the Month” for January 2025, shining a spotlight on Poppy as one of the creators who is finding success on the platform and helping to make the RedGIFs community “an even better place to be.”
“Poppy James is such an amazing example of what makes the RedGIFs Creator Community so special,” said Lylli Dupéré, Head of Community and Creator Success at RedGIFs. “She genuinely loves bringing people joy, whether it’s through her content or just chatting with her fans.”
As part of the Creator of the Month recognition, Poppy was interviewed for RedGIFs-Creators.com, which “serves as a resource hub for creators, providing increased visibility and exposure for their work,” the platform said in announcing Poppy as this month’s featured creator.
In the interview, Poppy explained that she got her start “posting pictures of my feet on Reddit at the end of April in 2021,” adding that she “can’t believe it’s been almost four years since I started.”
When asked what her favorite this is about RedGIFs, Poppy noted that she posts on Reddit a lot and “RedGIFs is the only video hosting platform I use to embed my gifs in posts.”
“All I have to do is copy and paste the link to my video into Reddit and I’m good to go,” Poppy added. “It’s also amazing that creators can submit requests to the RedGIFs Creators X account to have videos posted on the various RedGIFs X pages. That extra visibility is so helpful!”
Poppy added that it’s “hard to choose a favorite” when it comes to what kind of content she most enjoys producing.
“I’ve been creating a lot of role play content over the last year and that’s been a ton of fun,” Poppy said. “I like trying to simulate situations that are not necessarily likely to happen, but are still well within the realm of possibility,” providing the example of “hooking up with your friend’s girlfriend or with your new neighbor whose mail you received by accident.”
