LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) presented by Clips4Sale has announced the opening of the event’s pre-nomination period, running through November 15. Award winners will be announced at the event, which is scheduled for March 12 and 14 in Hollywood, California.
“With the changing landscape of adult content, we’re looking at ways to tailor our categories to fit the current state of the industry,” TEA Executive Producer Kristel Penn explained. “Steven Grooby will be publishing a blog in the coming days to explain some of these additions and changes, and we’re excited to see how these developments can more inclusively celebrate our community.”
In the announcement, the TEAs said Best Performer pre-nominations should be for “individuals who have appeared on a major website, DVD, or VOD release between November 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026.” The eligibility period for Best Scene and Best DVD categories mirrors the same time frame.
Pre-nomination submissions are being accepted now at theTEAShow.com.
Earlier this week, the TEAs announced that Clips4Sale has returned as the event’s Presenting Sponsor.
“I love their enthusiasm to show up for our community,” Penn said of Clips4Sale. “They’re already brainstorming creative ways to support and celebrate our performers during TEA weekend.”
First launched by Grooby as an online competition, the Trans Erotica Awards has evolved into a popular weekend in-person event welcoming individuals from the trans adult industry from around the globe. In addition to the pre-party and awards program, past editions of the event have featured performances from the likes of King Noire and The Gurls.
In keeping with tradition, the TEAs presented by Clips4Sale will kick off with its Official Pre-Party on March 12 at the Bardot, with the awards ceremony itself set for March 14 at the Avalon.
