LONDON – On April 28 at the Champagne Bar at Kettner’s Soho in London, the new podcast Come Undone, hosted by certified sex coach and clinical sexologist Georgia Rose, made its debut launch. Taking part in the event was premium personal lubricants brand pjur, with the company describing the event as “a special evening that addressed the topics of sexuality, healing and self-determination.”
The launch of the new podcast “brought together over 60 representatives from media, PR, influencer marketing and the sexual wellness industry including well-known guests such as Cosmopolitan editor Catriona Innes, Mashable Features Editor Rachel Thompson, as well as influential voices in the sexual wellness space like Gigi Engle and sexologist Aisha Smith,” pjur noted in a statement issued yesterday.
“At the center of the event was the release of the podcast Come Undone, in which Georgia Rose shares her personal as well as professional perspective on sexuality after significant life experiences,” pjur noted in the statement. “Rooted in her own experience as a cancer survivor, the podcast addresses the rebuilding of sexual intimacy after illness and loss and creates space for open and informed conversations around sexuality, emotional recovery and self-determination.”
During the launch event, pjur was present with curated goodie bags the company put together for the guests, which included bottles of the brand’s “WOMAN Lust” clitoral stimulant and “WOMAN Nude” lubricant.
“The engagement aimed to place the products specifically into the hands of relevant opinion leaders, journalists and creators in the UK market and to further deepen the existing brand awareness,” pjur explained. “Through personal engagement on site as well as planned communicative follow-up, the exchange about products, experiences and content is sustainably supported. “
The company added that the podcast launch event “created an intimate setting for conversations about sexuality in the context of change, healing and personal development.”
“The combination of personal story, professional expertise and open dialogue enabled a differentiated examination of a topic that often still receives little space in public discourse,” pjur added. “With ‘Come Undone,’ Georgia Rose deliberately opens the door to a sensitive but highly relevant area of sexuality and thereby sets im-pulses for more openness, understanding and self-determination in dealing with one’s own body and one’s own desire.”
Rose is the founder of the platform “G’s Spot” and a trained clinical sexologist and sex coach. The statement from pjur noted that since 2018, Rose “has been intensively engaged with female sexuality, body awareness and societal taboos around desire and intimacy.” Rose’s work has been featured by The Independent and Cosmopolitan, among other major media outlets.
“With her approach, she combines well-founded expertise with personal experience and supports women in developing a conscious and self-determined relationship with their sexuality,” pjur said, adding that Come Undone “builds on this and is aimed at people who want to rediscover access to their own sexuality after challenging phases of life.”
