TAMPA, Fla. – In a statement issued Monday, the NightMoves Awards announced that the 28th edition of the awards show will “buck the trend of all other 2020 adult awards show and host a live event” and hold its “usual 4-day extravaganza that travels to various clubs around the Tampa Bay area.”
“With Florida reopening all bars, restaurants and clubs, we looked at the coronavirus numbers and decided to continue our tradition and keep the show the same as in the past,” said NightMoves Publisher/President Paul Allen. “We will do what we need to do regarding facemasks and social distancing requirements. Our local clubs decided that they want to participate, the stars we have contacted are still interested in coming to town, our online voting numbers are strong so why not do our usual live show?”
The NightMoves Awards Show Weekend will kick off on Thursday, December 10, with the Star Caravan party at Desire Gentlemen’s Club in Holiday, Fla., then continue the next night at the 4-Play Gentlemen’s Club in St. Petersburg. On Saturday night, the Caravan will make its way to the 2001 Odyssey in Tampa, with the NightMoves Awards Show taking place on Sunday night at Thee Manor Gentlemen’s Club at 3886 Ulmerton Road in Clearwater, Fla. Doors will open to the public at 7pm Sunday evening.
Voting for the NightMoves Awards started on July 15 and runs through November 15. There are 17 National Categories and 10 Local Tampa Bay Area Categories that are decided by fan votes. Last year over 350,000 votes were cast in total, according to NightMoves.
Results will be announced the night of the Awards Show at Thee Manor Gentlemen’s Club. NightMoves hands out two national awards in each category – a “Fan’s Choice” winner and an “Editor’s Choice” winner. Fans can cast their votes by going to NightMoves.xxx.
Award Show tickets cost $25 and reserved tables and seats are available. The show is always looking for sponsors, as well.
