New Adult Talent Site Debuts
YNOT – A new site that hopes to alleviate some of the challenges inherent in online employment profile forums has bowed. According to owner Shane Wolfe, Adult Model Call offers industry professionals an environment that separates the posers from the players by allowing both models and content producers to verify their legitimacy.
Wolfe said a general dissatisfaction with the ratio of fan traffic to authentic opportunities on other employment resources led to the development of his project.
“I have been shooting as an amateur adult videographer for a while now, and I have used the existing model profile sites myself,” he said. “One of the most common responses I’d get from models on those sites was, ‘Are you for real, or are you just another stalker sending me a message on here?’
“I had some of the same issues from the producer’s end, because I’d get emails from people who wanted to sell me services and models that couldn’t even produce a valid ID once I got them on the set,” he added. “It was time for a site that offered verification of profiles so both sides would know exactly who they would be working with.”
Adult Model Call offers the option for both sides of the equation to verify their profiles by providing identification confirming details like date of birth and employer identification. Wolfe plans to add adult industry standard health-testing verification in a future update. All of the information is confidential, he said. While details are verified by real people, they are never shared publicly and are not posted on the site. Easily identifiable icons denote verified profiles.
“I want everyone that uses Adult Model Call to know their information is secure, while also providing all members the ability to confirm the profiles they see on the site belong to legitimate professionals,” Wolfe said. “Why take chances? There are already enough risks in what we do [without] hiring someone who isn’t able to produce legitimate ID once you have them on set. Worse yet, what model or performer wants to risk being hired by someone that doesn’t even have a legitimate reason to ask them to work for them?”
In addition to profiles, the website offers job listings. Studios may list openings in a variety of categories, including video or stills shoots and signings at retail outlets and conventions.
As for performers, each member may specify the types of jobs they will accept among categories ranging from hardcore video to signings and appearances. Models also may provide information about the types of activities they will perform in scenes.
All models and producers who register with Adult Model Call during the launch period will enjoy three months of free profile hosting as the site introduces itself to the industry. To encourage members to verify their profiles, producers and studios submitting employer documentation will be offered free job listings and featured profiles. Verified talent will receive perks including featured listing status and direct access to a member-messaging feature.
