When I picture the classic Hollywood “casting couch” scenario, what my mind summons is an unsuspecting young woman, aspiring to stardom, confronted with a terrible choice: Fuck the gross old producer/director/executive standing before her, or flee the scene with no prospect of landing the role she had been seeking, but with her dignity (and clothing) intact.
