LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Leading trans erotica studio Grooby and its sister company, Flaming Hearts Media (FHM), have announced the pair are teaming up again for their second “Queer Prom,” slated for September 25, 2026, at the Bardot in Hollywood, California.
“After a busy last year with FHM and all the talk about prom and if it was gonna happen again, Kristel and I decided it was time to bring back the most nostalgic moment in the industry,” said FHM Co-Founder Foxxy, in reference to fellow Co-Founder Kristel Penn. “Our Queer Prom event is one where anybody and everybody is welcomed to ‘come as you are,’ meaning you come no matter what gender or what you identify as, and dress how comfortable you feel in your own skin as an adult. So come show your love and support, and grab your date, or group of friends, and let’s have a night of pure fun, love, and dancing!”
Penn noted that “Prom is a milestone that not everyone in our community had the privilege of experiencing as their most authentic selves.”
“The idea for Queer Prom came from a conversation Foxxy and I had daydreaming about what prom would be like if we got a do-over,” Penn added. “Our first Queer Prom in 2024 was so well-received by our community that we decided to bring it back. Everyone deserves a chance to celebrate who they are, surrounded by people who also celebrate them.”
As explained in the announcement, Queer Prom is an industry and community event not open to the public. The announcement noted guests will be vetted internally and given a private link to purchase a ticket for entry ($45). Ticket sales and sponsorships will go directly toward the costs of hosting the event.
Those interested in becoming sponsors of Queer Prom can find more information on the Queer Prom website.
