OEGSTGEEST, Netherlands – Described as a private online community for professionals in the high-risk affiliate space, CircleBar announced today it has ended the site’s invite-only phase and is now “open to anyone in the industry.” Membership on the platform is free.
According to the announcement, CircleBar was created by Rutger and Tristan, the founders of WeCamgirls, which has served the cam and adult content creator industry since 2011.
In the statement issued today, the founders of CircleBar said they “set out to solve a problem every affiliate knows: the industry talks to itself twice a year in a conference hallway, and in between in Telegram groups where anything useful scrolls out of sight within a day.”
“We wanted a place where the conversation stays,” CircleBar co-founder Rutger said. “Somewhere you can look up who has actually worked with a network before you send them traffic and find the people you would otherwise only meet at a show.”
Per the announcement, CircleBar members get “a forum covering traffic, offers, compliance and payments, with dedicated For Sale & Wanted, Services Offered and Traffic Trades sections; a directory of more than 250 networks, advertisers, traffic sources, payment providers and tools, reviewed by the members who use them; member connections and direct messaging; an industry events calendar; exclusive member deals; campaign calculators and a link checker; and automatic translation into eight languages.”
The announcement specified that CircleBar “runs on its own servers and writes its own rules,” easing concerns of shadowbans and arbitrary takedowns common on mainstream platforms.
“Members can operate under a handle rather than a legal name, no algorithm decides who gets seen, and nobody loses their account because of the vertical they work in,” CircleBar added.
The CircleBar platform also features “industry articles,” which cover “trends, regulations, case studies and strategies in the space.”
