YNOT – The second annual HustlaBall Awards presented 26 European and American studios, films, performers and websites with trophies and acclaim Friday night during HustlaBall Berlin’s weekend of high-spirited erotic hijinx.The awards are juried by three separate international panels comprising members of the press, industry insiders and the general public. During the first round of judging, the public weighs in, and the chief executive officer of HustlaBall parent company SMB-Berlin Events GmbH said this year’s public participation astounded the event’s organizers.
“The participation in voting was exceptionally high this year,” Stephan Müller-Bardone said. “Far more than 3,000 people cast their votes, the overwhelming majority voting in all categories.”
Members of the adult industry media composed the second tier of judges. They included Andreas Mühlmann of Germany’s PornUp magazine, Michael T. Smith of the UK’s Qxmen magazine, Sławek Starosta of Poland’s NOWY MEN magazine and Gay.pl, Patrick Bartisch of Germany’s Phoenics People and Holger Weber of Germany’s Rubclub e.V.
The final judging was accomplished by a panel of adult industry insiders including Peter Pilz of JAXX, Herbert Bürsgens and Günther Blankenheim of German Gay-Sexshop, ArtPornLounge curator Franz Werner, performer Asimo and Dieter Teichmann of Gay-Online-Shop. All of the final round judges were German.
