IT’S NOT A PARTY ‘TIL SOMEONE BREAKS SOMETHING. The YNOT Network celebration party last Friday night was huge. I personally counted over 122 people in our offices at one time. The bartenders were working away feverishly, the delicious food was disappearing quickly, and the music was bumping away. I looked around the room and saw friends and acquaintances I have known for quite some time, and many new people. As I looked around, I recollected our first YNOT Network Happy Hour party one year ago. It was basically Otto, Myself, Heather, and the CCBill gang (Craig, Ron, Doug, Sean). All sitting around on the counters drinking beer and eating chips. It’s good to see Heather and the CCBill crew are still friends and mutual supporters.
There were Content Providers, CC Processing people, Web Site designers, Amateur Cam people, and of course a plethora of lovely models. There was a march of young beautiful ladies into my office during YNOT Master’s Albumside, to display their wares on the bobcam. I think my personal favorite was either NakedNicole (www.nakednicole.com) or Diabla, a young beautiful woman, who was virgin to the whole nude-cam thing. It was all in good fun, and the party raged on.
ARIZONA HERE WE COME. The SouthWestern Webmasters Conference, http://www.desertforum.com/schedule.htm, is coming up the first weekend in April. Otto and I will be there and we will be ready to talk about all the new projects coming up for YNOT. If you look at the list of attendees, it’s almost a who’s who of our Industry’s people. Couple that with the warm landscape of Phoenix, and the hospitality of CCBill, this should be one show not to miss. Then it’s a short few days back home to rest up and then another flight up to Vancouver. The WestCoast Webmasters, www.westcoastwebmasters.com is the following weekend in April. This conference, last year, was my favorite of them all. I talked to Tom Sweet yesterday and he wants everyone who already registered to be sure they have received their confirmation letter. If not, you need to contact him. The SEG crew was absolutely wonderful last year, and they made sure everyone had a great time. I knew it was going to be a good time from the get-go, when they picked us up for dinner and we immediately got into a not-serious car accident. YES!! That more or less set the tone.
Now while the parties and fun are all in good time at these conferences, there is a substantial amount of business and networking being done. Be sure to write out a personal goal business itinerary out for yourself, and a list of people you want to talk to. Also, make notes on business cards after you talk to the person you just gave it to, so you don’t forget who they were when you get home. I know I have my list already made out, I wonder if YOU are on it??

AN ADDENDUM TO THE “RIPE” LIST. I was reminded, THANK YOU, by my good friend Dave Cummings, www.davecummings.com, of a change that needed to be made to last week’s RIPE list. I had #10 stating “Don’t masturbate today, have sex, with a real person”. Dave, the star of over 300 Adult films, is still in touch with what is right and real in this world. He emailed me reminding me that #10 should read “Don’t masturbate today, have sex, with a real person, and then MAKE LOVE TO THEM.” Thanks Dave, you have proven yourself again to be the gentleman that you are! JUST SOME QUICK BRAGGING BECAUSE I CAN. Being a single father of two amazing children, I am gonna brag a little. About my son, Zachary, age 7, and Savannah, age 5. Both of my “yappers” keep me busy on the weekends, but it all pays off when you watch them have fun, try hard, and succeed. Zack had a Little League game on Saturday in which he went 3 for 3 with a home run that would make a 10 year old proud, and then bounced back on Sunday in his League Football game with a 50 yard dash for a touchdown to win the game. Deion Sanders, Bo Jackson, Michael Jordan, you guys are nothing! To my little Princess, Savannah, you Go Girl! I am watching how her weekend swimming, and ballet, lessons are building her confidence and turning her into a stunning little person.
