The results were achieved by leveraging proprietary knowledge gained from paid search campaigns. Derivative combinations of strategic “torso” and “long tail” search terms were added to the SEO campaign in order to convert website hits into sales.

For Video Secrets, Wildline! countered the unintended dilutive effect the affiliate program had on search engine rankings. By modifying the implementation of affiliate linking codes to eliminate unnecessary copies of their pages, Wildline! increased the Video Secrets’ direct sales from search engine traffic by thousands of dollars a month, Hentrich said.
“Traffic from non-branded query traffic has increased steadily since our work with Wildline! began,” said Brad Estes, manager of operations for Video Secrets.
