HELL NO! It’s more like this… working on your computer until the wee hours of the morning, telling your wife (or girlfriend) that you’ll be up in two minutes (TWO HOURS AGO), and checking your stats / message boards / billing company / affiliate programs too many times a day to count to make sure everything is humming along.
I can speak for myself that I personally put in at least 12 hours per day, 7 days per week into my business, and I still don’t think that’s enough. However, there is only so much that a human can do.
Traffic
Well, my company MODENA Group, LLC. is taking off nicely in the adult world. We have several sites that we’re working on and our customers are very happy with the end result. We’ve been doing a lot of “Web optimization” tasks – refining meta tags, search engine submissions, etc. We’ve also had several customers come to us and tell us that they want quality traffic, however they don’t want to spend a lot of money getting it. (Yeah… Who does?!).
Digging through my past experiences on traffic, I assuredly refer them to UCumSeeMe.com; one of the most reliable resources for traffic. I personally have been working with Penn from UCumSeeMe, and he has not only provided me with instantaneous service and customer support, he’s provided me with high quality converting traffic.

Honesty
Why do people lie? I really get pissed when someone offers me something and then they can’t deliver. I’d rather tell you that I fucked up and that I’ll fix it, than tell you that everything is fine, and have you explode at me later.
I’m currently building a MatchMaker site for swingers. I needed a dating engine for the back end that would do several things… manage the members, show photos, live chat, profiles, etc…
I found a company based out of Kansas that offered the type of matchmaker engine that I was looking for. They even had a demo that allowed me to test out the application.
Well, after I bought the application, premier tech support, and four custom modifications I installed the site. What I found was THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT I’ve ever seen! I mean this tool sucked! It worked nothing like the demo, the phone number for the premier support that I purchased went right to voice mail, and I never received the modifications that I paid for.
After several “VERY ANGRY” voice mails from me, I got a call back from the guy that runs the support / sales / hosting / development departments and he told me that I couldn’t get my money back because I agreed to his licensing terms.
I’ll just stop here. I’ll let you know how this episode unfolds in another diary submission. For now, I’ve reported this company to the Internet Fraud Division of the FBI, and things are being taken care.
