LIMASSOL, Cyprus – Stripchat has announced the launch of cam shows which the company said are the first to offer “fully-enveloping sensory VR capabilities between model and viewer.”
“Virtual Reality makes the experience and the joy of interacting with webcam models even better than the real thing,” said Stripchat’s Business Development Manager Rick Morales. “Stripchat is the first on the adult market to adopt and develop the feature to its fullest potential, channeling digital reality into a hypnotic, user experience.”
Compatible with most major VR headsets, including Oculus Rift & HTC Vive, Stripchat.com is now offering its members private shows they can join as though they were truly entering a model’s room, including “crystal-clear vocal interactions” through their headsets and microphones.
“Users can find the Index page with a variety of models and login – which will redirect to stripchat.com; they will see their favorite models featured in the first positions for easier access,” the company explained in a release announcing the launch of its new VR shows. “Stripchat viewers can see the model’s livestream, settings and profile info, with the option to add the models to their Favorites.”
Stripchat users can also use the cam2voice show option with the assistance of a microphone to chat at first (cam2voice is available only in VR), then type to chat during the shows. The company said members can also ‘spy’ on models’ 2D live private shows as well – although that option is not available to 3D users.
“Stripchat is offering the future of live entertainment,” Morales said. “We are not simply 3D or stereo like some other cam sites – we have true immersive experience, and we are ready to make a VR revolution in the live cam industry.”
