HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Sexual wellness and adult pleasure products brand Sportsheets has announced the promotion of Emily Silva to Director of Product & Merchandising.
“For the past 18 years, Emily has been an integral part of the Sportsheets family, making a lasting impact on our company, our customers, and the industry,” the company said. “Throughout her career, she has contributed across nearly every area of the business, including sales, private label development, product development, customer education, retailer training, trade shows, and extensive travel as one of our true road warriors. Her hands-on experience, product knowledge, and customer-first mindset have made her one of our customers’ most trusted partners and a respected leader within our organization and throughout the industry.”
Sportsheets added that Silva “brings a unique combination of strategic vision, creativity, product expertise, and nearly two decades of institutional knowledge.”
“Her understanding of our brands, our customers, and the evolving marketplace has helped shape many of the products, collections, and partnerships that define Sportsheets today,” the company said.
Sportsheets noted that in her previous role as Product Line Manager, Silva “successfully led the development and execution of our branded collections and private label initiatives.” The company said in her new role as Director of Product & Merchandising, Silva will “oversee Sportsheets’ long-term product strategy, branded collections, private label programs, merchandising initiatives, and product lifecycle management. She will also continue championing our mission of building connection, confidence, and intimate exploration through every product we bring to market.”
Silva will now report directly to Sportsheets General Manager Donavon Dartez, whose appointment was announced less than two weeks ago.
“Working alongside Executive Vice President of Sales Kelly Sofferman, Emily will help ensure our product roadmap continues to align with customer insights, emerging market opportunities, and long-term business growth,” Sportsheets said.
“The strongest organizations are built when product and sales work as true partners, and Emily has always understood that,” Sofferman said. “She has an exceptional ability to turn customer feedback into meaningful product strategy, helping us stay connected to the market while continuing to lead it. I couldn’t be more excited to work alongside her in this expanded role as we continue strengthening our brands and creating even greater value for our customers.”
Sportsheets said Silva’s expanded leadership role reflects the company’s “continued investment in product excellence, innovation, and long-term growth.”
“Under Emily’s leadership, the company will continue expanding its branded collections, strengthening its private label partnerships, refining its merchandising strategy, and delivering thoughtfully designed products that inspire connection and exploration,” Sportsheets added.
“Emily’s knowledge of this industry is unmatched, and her passion for creating products that resonate with both customers and retailers has helped shape who we are today,” Dartez said. “She has earned the trust of our team, our partners, and our customers through nearly two decades of dedication and leadership. I’m proud to have her leading our product and merchandising organization as we continue building the future of Sportsheets.”
