Adult AI platform Soulkyn has announced a series of upgrades to the platform based on community feedback, saying that if a Soulkyn community member “posts a suggestion for a feature or an improvement on our Discord, our developers take note.”
“It’s how we stay on the cutting-edge of AI companion technology while ensuring our community comes first,” Soulkyn’s Knox wrote in a recent blog post. “Our latest update brings improvements to major features like AI character generation and the little details that personalize your experience.”
The upgrades to the platform include the ability for users to choose their cover images, to “add a personal touch to blog posts, music tracks and diary entries.” The feature enables users to select an image from their “kyn gallery” to use as a cover image for new media.
Soulkyn users can now pin important chats, as well.
“Have a particularly memorable AI character chat that you would like to revisit? You can now save or pin important chat threads so you don’t lose track of them,” Knox noted. “To pin a chat, you just look for a little bookmark icon next to any chat listed on your main chat page. Pinned chat threads will remain at the top and have a small pink badge on their avatar in the compact sidebar for easier navigation.”
Users can also now filter chats by profile, using a new dropdown menu to filter and organize their main inbox. By selecting a specific AI roleplay persona, users can “hide all other conversations and only see the chats tied to that AI character persona.”
The platform has also renamed “Story Mode” to “Adventure Mode,” the blog post observed.
“The ‘Story Mode’ toggle has been renamed to ‘Adventure Mode’ and has a new description to accurately reflect its functionality,” Knox explained. “‘Adventure Mode’ allows you to direct your own adventure by selecting from four reply options.”
Soulkyn now boasts “cleaner AI-generated characters,” as well.
“AI character creation options like Create with AI, Spin the Wheel, Enhance with AI, and Import received an update,” Knox wrote. “The options are much less likely to keep kyns bound by restrictive rules like ‘speaks ONLY in ‘!’’ or ‘communicates entirely through punctuation.’ Explore Soulkyn’s improved AI character creation features and experiment with more expressive kyns.”
Knox also noted that the platform’s “AI-generated kyns now require a human touch before they can be made public.”
“AI-generated writing alone won’t make the cut,” Knox wrote. “A little human creativity goes a long way here; rewriting a few sentences, adding a paragraph or doing some light editing will work. Other recent upgrades include updates to the platform’s user profile biography function and chat profile badges
Knox also wrote that staying ahead of the competition is part of Soulkyn’s commitment to the platform’s users.
