Grooby has announced that the second annual Grooby Camp will be held virtually on July 13-14, 2022. Grooby Camp is a free two-day virtual conference for the trans adult industry or those considering entering the industry. Although the conference is open to all cis and trans performers and content creators, Grooby Camp was created with the intention of supporting specifically the trans adult industry.
Kristel Penn, Grooby’s Creative and Editorial Director, explained, “Many trans adult performers make their porn debuts through Grooby and we are one of the leading producers in our genre, so we thought it would be helpful to provide resources to those thinking about entering adult work, newcomers, and seasoned professionals alike. It is important to us that performers, trans and cis, are able to make empowered decisions about navigating the adult industry and we believe that starts with making educational resources accessible to those who need them.”
The free educational trans adult industry conference was first launched in 2021 during the height of the pandemic and welcomed over 200 attendees.
“We had such enthusiastic interest in last year’s event that I wanted to bring it back again, especially as our performers have had to navigate the business during the pandemic,” said Penn. “Resources are still relevant and thanks to the generous support of our speakers, newcomers and veterans alike will be able to learn from some of the best in our industry.”
Featured speakers include award-winning adult industry heavy hitters such as Steven Grooby, Domino Presley, Jamie French, Penny Petalz, Nikki Sequoia, Keith Eros, Buddy Wood, Saki Cruise, Reba Rocket (Take Down Piracy), Alice Skary (JustFor.Fans), Anna Lee (2049 Entertainment), Fivestar (Filth Syndicate), Free Speech Coalition, and Grooby’s Kristel Penn.
