Proclaiming that “finding porn online isn’t difficult” but “figuring out which website is actually worth visiting – or paying for – is another matter,” the operators of PornMeter.com say they are taking on the latter problem with “a directory built around adult website discovery.”
“The platform brings together site rankings, individual reviews and category-based recommendations, giving visitors a way to explore their options without bouncing between search results, promotional pages and dozens of competing websites,” PornMeter explained in a statement released Thursday. “The directory covers both free and paid adult entertainment, from traditional porn tubes and premium studios to live webcam platforms, hentai, adult games, VR experiences and AI-powered services.”
When it comes to web surfers looking for each different manner of adult site or platform, “the distinction matters,” PornMeter said.
“Someone looking for free videos has very different expectations from someone considering a premium membership, a virtual reality experience or an AI companion,” the company noted in its statement. “PornMeter organizes these services into separate categories, making it easier to narrow down the options before choosing where to go.”
Noting that “adult entertainment has become increasingly fragmented,” PornMeter observed that “consumers now have access to interactive adult games, virtual experiences and a growing range of AI services” – products that “don’t necessarily compete on the same features, prices or experiences.”
“PornMeter’s approach is to give each type of platform its own space, with rankings and reviews that help visitors discover services they might otherwise overlook,” the statement explained. “The project is also continuing to expand its directory, with coverage ranging from mainstream adult websites to more specialized categories.”
As for how the platform is monetized, PornMeter explained that it “operates as an affiliate-supported website, with some outgoing links leading to commercial partners.” The platform’s focus is “on discovery and comparison rather than hosting adult videos itself.”
