VANCOUVER, Canada – Video game developers Satyr Games will present a session titled “Adult Games on Steam: Tips & Tricks for a Successful Launch” at the upcoming Adult Game Fest, Thursday, September 24 at 11:00 AM Pacific, the virtual event announced today.
“Releasing a game on Steam has never been more competitive – and for adult game developers, the challenges are even greater,” Adult Game Fest said in the announcement. “Building wishlists, navigating Steam’s policies, creating an effective store page, generating pre-launch momentum, and standing out in an increasingly crowded marketplace can mean the difference between a breakout success and a missed opportunity.”
“Designed for developers, publishers, and aspiring creators, this practical workshop will provide actionable strategies for preparing and launching adult games on Steam,” the announcement added. “Attendees will gain insights into wishlist growth, store page optimization, demo strategy, Steam Next Fest, launch timing, community engagement, cross-promotion, and the common mistakes that can limit a game’s visibility and long-term success.”
The announcement noted that “as a Cyprus-based developer and publisher, Satyr Games has built a reputation for helping studios successfully bring adult games to market.”
“In addition to developing its own titles, the company partners with creators around the world, providing expertise in publishing strategy, Steam optimization, marketing, localization, community building, and launch planning,” the announcement continued. “Its growing catalogue includes titles such as My Bimbo Dream and Parasite Black, showcasing a diverse range of genres, fantasies, kinks, and artistic styles.”
In the announcement, Satyr Games observed that adult games “have grown tremendously over the last few years, but the industry is still quite fragmented.”
“That makes events like Adult Game Fest incredibly important,” the company added. “They give developers, publishers, creators, and players a place to come together, discover new games, exchange knowledge, and help the space become more connected and professional. We’re excited to be part of it and hope it continues to grow alongside the adult games industry.”
Anna Lee, Executive VP of Adult Game Fest, said the event “isn’t just about showcasing great games – it’s about helping build a stronger, more connected industry.”
“We’re proud to welcome Satyr Games to share the knowledge they’ve gained from successfully publishing on Steam,” Lee added. “Their experience will provide developers with practical, real-world guidance they can immediately apply to improve their launch strategy and increase their chances of success.”
In addition to presenting the workshop, Satyr Games will be exhibiting its catalogue throughout Adult Game Fest, giving attendees “the opportunity to discover its latest releases, meet the team, and explore potential publishing opportunities,” the announcement observed.
“As the adult gaming market continues its rapid growth, educational sessions like this are becoming increasingly valuable for developers seeking to transform great ideas into commercially successful games,” Adult Game Fest said, adding that the event is “committed to supporting that growth by creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and meaningful connections between developers, publishers, creators, media, technology companies, and players.”
