Pokmi, the decentralized uncensored content platform founded on blockchain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) announced yesterday its “next big challenge” – “creating THE adult-only metarverse by partnering with its most iconic ambassador, Maitland Ward.”
One manifestation of this partnership will be the creation of an NFT based on Ward, which Pokmi is calling an “NFP”, a contraction of “NFT” and “Pokmi.”
“This NFP will not be playable in-game or metaverse, but similar to Pokemon promo cards, these will never be minted again, and will be remembered as the first content that launched our metaverse journey, making it extremely rare,” said Marco Garniga and Nils Lataillade, the co-founders and co-CEOs of Pokmi.
“It’s so exciting to be working closely with a company that takes the NFT space so seriously,” Ward said. “My collaborations with Pokmi allow me to share unique custom content with fans in ways that are both cutting edge and also a solid investment.”
Ward added that as the platform’s top ambassador, she will launch the collaboration by offering “an ultra-exclusive artifact from my new sitcom, The Big Time, for 2022!”
“This item is the lingerie I wore in the pilot episode,” Ward said. “This piece will be featured as the episode kicks off and my character is introduced to the audience. This adorable NFT really marries all of my worlds of cosplay/anime/porn and mainstream.”
Pokmi said its “reason for being” is to provide “a fairer, more transparent and ethical model for content creators by putting them back at the center of the economic equation, to transform the world of adult content through the latest technologies and innovations.”
The company also seeks to “guarantee to 18+ — and only to them – a unique, secure and authentic quality content experience through Blockchain technology.” The platform also seeks to “promote ethical, inclusive and educational values, supported by its partners and ambassadors and leverage AI and machine learning tools to solve systemic problems in its market.”
Ward’s 3D NFP is on sale via her Pokmi profile through November 15, with collectors bidding against each other using Pokmi’s own cryptocurrency, $PKN.
