Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health non-profit, will attend the XBIZ conference in Los Angeles, where it will host a panel and meditative sound bath for performers, sponsored by Chaturbate.
The sound bath will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Jordan Wolan, using Tibetan bowls, gongs, and chimes to create a sound bath that promotes relaxation and healing. The event, sponsored by Chaturbate, is free for adult performers to attend and will take place in the Nichols I Ballroom on Thursday, January 12th at 12pm.
“We want to invite performers to join us in experiencing the healing benefits of sound waves, and to unwind and recharge after a few hectic days at XBIZ LA,” says Pineapple CEO Leya Tanit. “I’d like to extend a special thank you to Chaturbate for sponsoring this rejuvenating event, and to the talented hypnotherapist and sound-healing facilitator Jordan Wolan for leading the sound bath.”
In addition, Pineapple Support will also host a panel discussion, “Maintaining Healthy Boundaries” on Jan 11th at 12pm, where panelists will discuss how to protect your physical, emotional, and online safety.
Tanit will also participate in a “State of the Industry 2023” discussion later that day.
To raise money and awareness for the organization, Tanit will be asking performers to sign an inflatable couch, which will be auctioned off at the fan-facing X3 Expo later that week.
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, which is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has so far connected over 8,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost, therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
