Adult industry mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has announced leadership changes designed to “support the organization’s growing needs and expand its global impact across the industry.” Jean-Micheal Veen, CEO of F2F.com, will now serve as the board’s Technology and Development Chair, while MojoHost President Brad Mitchell has been named the President of the board.
“These board-approved changes reflect the organization’s continued evolution as it expands the care it provides, strengthens corporate governance, and further establishes itself as a leading advocate for the industry,” Pineapple Support said in a statement published Thursday.
“Jean-Micheal is passionate about the work we do and brings both technical and operational expertise,” said Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit. “As Pineapple Support continues to grow, his experience and insight will strengthen the systems needed to provide even more care to the community in the years ahead.”
“At F2F.com, we’ve always believed that building a sustainable platform starts with genuinely caring about the people on it,” Veen said. “Supporting Pineapple Support was therefore a logical step for us from the start. Joining the board is a commitment to go further. My focus will be on expanding access to services and increasing industry participation. Mental health is a non-negotiable standard, not an afterthought. Pineapple Support is leading that charge, and I’m proud to help drive it.”
Mitchell steps into the role of President having already served on the Pineapple board for the last eight years.
“Brad has served on the board of Pineapple Support since its inception, providing meaningful guidance and support for the past eight years,” Tanit said. “I’m excited to work more closely with Brad in his new role as President, as we continue to expand and advance our mission. This new role reflects the organization’s confidence in his leadership and longstanding commitment to both Pineapple Support and the industry.”
Mitchell said he’s “incredibly proud of what Pineapple Support has accomplished, honored to accept this role, and excited to help expand its ability to reach and support more lives.”
“When you meet people whose lives have been saved, as I have, it stays with you forever,” Mitchell added. “I am deeply grateful to my predecessor, Alison Boden, for her selfless hard work and dedication throughout her tenure. I will continue building on that legacy in a way that would make her proud.”
In the statement, Pineapple Support said the organization “also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Michelle Marriott for her dedicated service as Community Outreach Chair.”
“Michelle’s commitment and tireless efforts have played a meaningful role in sustaining and growing the organization’s ability to provide care to those who need it most,” the statement added. “We are deeply grateful for her time and contributions and wish her well in her next chapter.”
Tanit noted that Pineapple Support “has grown into an organization the industry depends on and recognizes as essential.”
“As the need for accessible, stigma-free mental health support continues to grow, we are committed to meeting this challenge by serving the community responsibly and effectively,” Tanit added. “The leadership team and board we have in place today are strong, and I’m incredibly excited about what we will accomplish together moving forward.”
