Adult industry mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has announced the organization will co-host the “model lounge” at the upcoming Venus Berlin conference, in partnership with live adult webcam platform Chaturbate.
The model lounge is designed to provide “a relaxing and supportive space for performers throughout the show,” the announcement explained.
“The lounge will offer refreshments, make-up stations, and a calming Zen room where models can decompress between events,” Pineapple Support noted in the announcement. “Pineapple Support therapist Sarah Adelaide will also be available onsite to provide emotional support and guidance for anyone who needs to talk.”
Pineapple Support Founder and CEO Leya Tanit is also slated to deliver a presentation titled “Mental Health Is a Business Strategy: Protecting Your People, Protecting Your Brand” on Friday September 26 at 14:40 local time. According to the announcement, Tanit’s presentation will “explore how prioritizing mental health in the adult industry is not only a compassionate choice but a smart and necessary business strategy, highlighting actionable steps companies can take to build a culture of care and compliance.”

Founded by Tanit in 2018 after a tragic series of losses within the adult industry community stemming from depression and other mental health struggles, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. To date, the organization reports that it has “connected over 16,000 adult performers to free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.”
