Kinkoid, the game studio behind Gaming Adult’s two hit games, Hentai Heroes and Gay Harem, is celebrating its third anniversary, Gaming Adult announced today.
“The idea behind Kinkoid was simple: to bring sexy and positive entertainment to manga fans,” Gaming Adult wrote in announcing the studio’s third anniversary. “Three years later, Hentai Heroes is one of the most played adult games, a favorite on the huge hentai platform Nutaku and keeps giving the players what they want: more Haremverse!”
According to Gaming Adult, the number of people employed by Kinkoid has tripled in the last year, bringing the current number of employees to 50. The growth isn’t a surprise, considering that the studio’s two flagship games now have over six million active players.
Gaming Adult attributes some of the games’ popularity to an effort to offer Hentai Heroes and Gay Harem in additional languages. Now, on top of English, both games are available in French, Japanese, Italian and Spanish. Translating the games has helped grow their player-bases across Latin America, Europe and Japan.
Another of Gaming Adult’s marketing moves has been to incorporate adult performers into Hentai Heroes, starting with the addition of an avatar based on Sara Jay back in February, followed by popular cam girls SensualCherrin01 and HottyTEEN69, who were added to the game earlier this month.
Gaming Adult is celebrating Kinkoid’s third anniversary with a “huge event for the players” which the company has playfully dubbed “Kinkversary.”
Magrat, Account Manager for Gaming Adult, said one of the key elements to the growth of the company – and the popularity of its games – is the passion for gaming the Gaming Adult and Kinkoid teams bring to the table.
