This week I have an interesting interview with a Tiana Blow, a young woman who is more than meets the eye.
At first sight you see a pretty, fresh-faced young lady who joined the industry as soon as she turned 18 (May of 2022) – someone who had her eyes set on performing and fits into the biz perfectly. A natural in front of the camera, you may be tricked into believing her work in adult is the only facet of her personality.
It’s not.
You don’t have to dig much deeper to discover that she has many passions in addition to porn – it does not define her.
Not only does she enjoy doing yoga, playing her ukulele, reading, and spending time with friends and family, she has an interesting viewpoint on the environment and using horticulture to help others. Tiana has depth, and though she’s young, she is thoughtful about the world around her. I think this is one of the reasons why she’s already enjoying so much success – she has a genuine authenticity about her and knows what she wants.

What brought you to the industry and how did you get your start?
I truly wasn’t expecting to become a sex worker; I was planning on heading to college and getting my degree in Horticulture.
One of my old friends, who is currently in the industry, had explained to me their experience, and really wanted me to join the industry with them. So, I decided to put college aside, knowing that the knowledge that I want to learn will always be accessible to me and it’s not necessary to go to school to learn the things that I want to learn, but porn won’t always be there for me while school will.
So, I decided to put a pause on going to school, and immediately shot my first scene for the adult entertainment industry two weeks after I turned 18!!!
I understand you are passionate about herbalism and at one time you were considering a degree in Therapeutic Horticulture, what IS that and why does it speak to you?
I absolutely love working with plants and the natural earth around me.
I think it’s very important to not only be able to take care of yourself, but the community and the earth around you.
A Therapeutic Horticulture degree entails working with plants and off the land in a way to help others to find new and healthy ways to cope with mental illness. The reason why I am so drawn to plants in the first place is because, growing up, my family was extremely poverty stricken with little access to affordable healthy, organic fresh foods. I started off by volunteering at tons of local places in Oregon to learn how to garden – just to gain basic information – and I started building and creating a garden for my grandmother back at home in Oregon to supply my family with organic foods and medicine that could be used to help assist us in our overall well-being, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Something that really sticks with me is knowing that a lot of our physical conditions manifest from our mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. I’ve learned that starting with good foods, fresh air, clean water, and a loving community, is where all health truly stems from. Being able to take care of myself, and assist others is a huge passion of mine, because growing up, I wasn’t fortunate enough to have the knowledge to love and take care of myself and others. As an adult, I believe that it is my job to take accountability for those things that I lacked in life, and to inform myself as much as I can so that I can help others.
Your career is really taking off in a short time, what do you owe your success to?
I believe that a lot of my success relates to my fans, and all of their support and love that they show me not only on social media, but on all of my personal platforms that I’ve created.
What is something that didn’t come natural to you in the business that you had to work at and now excel in?
I think all of it was completely out of my comfort zone. Being naked on camera, performing naked on camera, having sex naked on camera – it’s all really scary and intimidating at first. But I soon grew a passion for performing on camera!!! I think something that absolutely doesn’t come natural to me is acting, and that’s something that I am still working on.
How do you prep yourself for scenes to get into character?
The main things that allow me to prep myself into getting into character is to just speak kind words of affirmations to myself.
It always starts off with being kind and patient and gentle towards yourself. I most definitely go over all of the call sheets and try to go over the script at least the night before just to make sure that I understand the dialogue and what’s I need to portray.
What are your goals for 2024?
My goals for 2024 are to start focusing on my own platforms, building my own website, and shooting less for mainstream.
