If your work is decent and the model likes you, you’ll be bugged to death by her friends to work with them.
NETWORKING
Use networking to your advantage and other people will find models for you. Currently I have an adult strip club sending me models to shoot them for their site…which I’m building for them at www.charliesgirls.com. My deal is I photograph the girls FREE, build the site for FREE and get 1/3rd of the profits from the members section and use of the photos my purposes. Figure it out. I have no expensive model fees to pay, they send me an ongoing supply of new models…and hey… the girls are passing out business cards to see them on the web to their adoring fans. My front end is tons of content for the cost of film/processing (about $8 per set). My backend is profits from the site and from selling the content.
Get involved in the industry with the forums for adult webmasters. Other webmasters, even content providers, are more than willing to help you. Believe me on this. When I started it shocked me that my competition was willing to pitch in and give advice and help. Be part of the group and return the favor and help others. It will come back to you!
Meet other Webmasters face to face. At a recent party in Atlanta I offered an adult webmaster to bring some of my girls to her “members party” and get her some more content from www.celeste-fox.com I met Celeste and her husband Tim, and 3 other webmasters that want me to photograph them for their “amateur pages”.
My charge: FREE. Their charge to me: FREE. How do we win. They get new “girlfriends” and content for their site. I get new “photos with well-known amateurs” for a successful webmaster that is building websites for some of my models. I also get links on highly trafficked sites with strong text links to visit my “Hot new girlfriend.” Of course my deal for all this time and travel is a % of the sales on the amateur site…okay, okay so I have a ton of fun too 🙂 My costs for this networking was hotel, film/processing and way, way too many beers 🙂
