FRESNO, CA – Anyone who has ever played with an everyday, run-of-the-mill rubber band knows that injuries happen. Imagine the damage that a 150-foot rubber band can do. AVN award-winning porn star Gina Lynn doesn’t have to wonder; she knows from personal experience.The edgy, blonde porn Vixen was scheduled to take part in a stunt during the Motorcross Mayhem show featuring SMP Films and soon-to-be-released DVD series Off The Hook TV’s Mr. Safety, a motorcycle, Off The Hook TV’s Tony Gold, his ass – and a 150-foot rubber band.
In order to achieve this goal, Lynn rode on a motorcycle with famous Metal Mulisha stunt bike rider Todd Potter, during which time the plan was for her to release the rubber band, striking Gold on the bare butt. Alas, things did not go quite as planned. Lynn did not see the sign indicating that it was time for her to release the band, and thus it snapped, causing facial cuts and a swollen eye for Lynn, as well as injuries to Potter.
According to Mr. Safety and Viva La Bam wrestler and video series producer Leatherface, safety precautions were in place but the additional 25 to 30 foot tension that resulted from the band’s unintended extra stretch is responsible for the injuries.
Lynn, who is said to have participated in the stunt with some reluctance and in the hopes of entertaining her fans, says she “… won’t be doing any more stupid stunts to please people.” Other guests of the Motocross Mayhem show included Howard Stern Show personality Jackie Martling and the band Lit.
