It’s easy to think that Diamond Foxxx was meant for porn and that she got into the industry deliberately and with a plan, but it wasn’t that way at all.
As she reveals in a new 20 Questions interview with Fleshbot, Diamond was just looking to make the first payment on her first home. She made a video, took it to the Adult Entertainment Expo in 2004. An agent set her up to work the following month. Money made, she thought that was the end of it. (Spoiler alert: it’s 2019 and she’s going stronger than ever!)
“When I got back to West Palm Beach airport, a man approached me and said he’d just seen my first scene, ‘My First Sex Teacher’ on Naughty America. I said, well, I guess porn is for me, so I stayed around,” Diamond told Fleshbot.
Diamond was a straight-A student in school and never watched porn before she entered the industry. Fifteen years later she has shot hundreds of scenes and yet still claims no fetishes, though she does enjoy playing the aggressor, noting she has particularly enjoyed shooting for Brazzers’ Hot and Mean series because she’s a “naturally an aggressive person and it suits me well. I love being aggressive in bed so doing it on video is just an added bonus.”
“What I like most about porn is the personal freedom it has given me to be a more open-minded person and the confidence that comes along with it,” she said. “I also believe porn saves my marriage as I’m not so uptight about sex anymore. Also, I’m in control of what, who and where I perform.”
