COPENHAGEN, DENMARK — Make all the silly sports double entendres you like. The members of FC Copenhagen won’t mind. They’re having too much fun — yes, I’m going to say it — scoring. The management of Denmark’s Superliga soccer team upped the players’ winning percentage when they began rewarding the team by screening two pornos after every victory.
The radical rewards program was suggested by one of FC Copenhagen’s sponsors, adult movie distributor BN Agentur. The team rose to the challenge, winning nine of its first 13 games, and now stands second in its division.
The team screens the films at its training facility and shrugs off criticism about the incentive plan.
“As far as I am concerned, there is nothing wrong with it,” FC Copenhagen Chairman Flemming Ostergaard told The Daily Record.
No one has said who gets possession of the films afterward.
