Fast Times at JuicyAds
YNOT – JuicyAds, an adult advertising network for publishers and advertisers, has signed on to sponsor a team for the 2011 YNOT Grand Prix series. Kicking off at the Phoenix Forum on March 31, the events comprise a series of kart races at adult webmaster gatherings worldwide.
“This is one of the most exciting sponsorships we have ever done,” said JuicyAds founder Juicy Jay. “We are proud to be a sponsor of the Phoenix Forum this year, but sponsoring a team in the YNOT Grand Prix is definitely going to be a blast. We are really excited to see what skills the other teams bring to the track.”
The YNOT Grand Prix offers both team and driver championships. Divided into groups, competitors will complete a 10-minute practice session and a 10-minute qualifying session and, based on the results, the top drivers will move on to the finals.
In the finals, grid positions will be determined by fastest lap times during a five-minute qualifying session, with drivers taking their positions on the starting grid according to their times. After 15 minutes or a set number of laps, the first driver across the finish line wins.
“This isn’t just about ego,” said Juicy Jay, who plans to race as part of the JuicyAds team. “I haven’t been in a go-kart in a while. I’m just enormously competitive, want good competition, and would love to start some rivalries and have a good time.”
JuicyJay said the rest of his team will consist of JuicyAds clients.
“We’re so pleased to see the JuicyAds racing team join the YNOT Grand Prix event in Phoenix,” said YNOT Group LLC President Connor Young. “Personally, I think JuicyAds is going to have its hands full with TopBucks [which also has signed on to sponsor a team]. Neither of those companies likes to lose, so I imagine it’s going to be a pretty tight race in Phoenix.
“I’m not one to start a rivalry, but I did hear [TopBucks’] Kristin talking smack about Juicy Jay’s driving abilities,” he added. “Something about him being Canadian…. So, it will be interesting to see what develops there.”
The Grand Prix’s second qualifying event will take place in June during the YNOT Summit in San Francisco, followed in September by a race during the European Summit in Prague.
