Evil Angel Films’ groundbreaking new showcase “I Am Angela” premiered on VOD on September 28. Combining revealing interviews, compelling documentary sequences and hardcore sex, “I Am Angela” brings together a quartet of AVN Hall of Fame directors — Jonni Darkko, Dana Vespoli, Joey Silvera and John Stagliano — to paint a vivid, honest and humanizing portrait of the reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year: Angela White. Featuring four incredible sex scenes and over 70 minutes of documentary footage, “I Am Angela” includes Angela’s first TS scene and first sexual encounter with Rocco Siffredi. “This is the most unique adult project I’ve ever been involved in,” said Angela. “Evil Chris’ documentary approach to adult filmmaking is innovative, inclusive and inspiring. The movie was a monumental undertaking and I am extremely grateful to Evil Chris and John Stagliano for giving me this amazing opportunity to share myself and my story. It was incredible to have so many legendary directors and performers take part in the project. Everyone involved went above and beyond and I’d like to thank the entire cast for their willingness to be so honest and open in their interviews, and for putting so much love into each episode. I would also like to make special mention of the effort put in by Evil Robby (associate producer), Evil Ricky (editor), and, of course, Rocco Siffredi, who flew over 6,000 miles to be part of the movie.”
According to Evil Chris, the film’s director and Vice President of Product at Evil Angel: “‘I Am Angela’ has been in development for most of 2018. Angela became my primary producing partner. She brought so much to this project, helping with virtually every component of the movie. We worked very hard to build the perfect cast and directing team. It’s an honor to have gone on this journey with Angela and to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Jonni, Dana, Joey and John; it’s an experience I’ll never forget.”
Darkko, who directed the movie’s first episode, said “Putting Angela in a 3-on-1 DP with Markus Dupree, Mick Blue and Steve Holmes was like feeding a shark. She devoured cocks in every hole. Angela looked so hot in her magenta lingerie. This was an historic project to be a part of.”
“It was an absolute pleasure to work with Angela and Joanna Angel in the lesbian anal POV scene,” said Vespoli. “Angela describes how transformative the experience was, and it truly felt that way. It actually felt romantic! It’s funny to describe anal sex that way, especially in an Evil Angel title, but pushing your limits in a safe space can very much be romantic.” AVN Hall of Famer Joanna Angel added, “This was a unique and special scene, with so much girl power in one place. I feel like Evil Angel’s sex documentary style is really important, and I definitely think it debunks a lot of misconceptions people have about the industry.”
Silvera, the now-reclusive pioneer of TS porn, brought his signature style to Angela’s first TS scene with trans superstar Chanel Santini. “Initially, Joey was hesitate about the project given that he doesn’t like to be captured on film,” recalled Evil Chris. “Then he turned up at the office one day and said, ‘So about that Angela thing: I’m in.’ Joey’s presence brought so much to this film, and the scene with Angela and Chanel is going to blow people away.”
Evil Angel founder, Stagliano, captured Angela’s monumental anal scene with Siffredi. “Has the industry ever seen anyone like Angela White?” Stagliano asked. “I think not. She is a female Rocco Siffredi. Each of them uniquely moves porn to heights seldom explored. I feel challenged every time I am around one of them. Angela can be intimidating to the average male. It is her blessing and her curse. She makes me question how hard I work as a director.”
“I Am Angela” was released on VOD on September 28. Captured in 4K, and with a runtime of 4 hours 19 minutes, the DVD will street on October 31.
Later this year, “I Am Angela” and its companion showcase “Angela By Darkko” will be paired in a deluxe, limited edition box set under the title “A Portrait of Angela White.”
