Disruptive Films, the award-winning new gay cinema studio, boldly explores the realistic fears and trepidations of being closeted in the latest release of their TRUE MALE series ‘Buying Time’ – which launches January 13, 2022 on Disruptive Films.
Showrunner Bree Mills, who produced and directed the tense, emotion-packed drama about a man (Dante Colle) who is harboring a secret and finds solace with a handsome new confidante (Dakota Payne), is proud to finally share this story with Disruptive members.
“This was actually our very first production for the True Male series, and we were so happy to be able to do it with two of our favorite actors, Dakota Payne and Dante Colle,” said Mills, who also serves as Adult Time’s Chief Creative Officer. “I knew I could count on them to deliver the realism and authenticity we needed to make this story hit home. I am so excited for fans to watch it!”
Four months after launching, Disruptive Films has already shown itself to be a smashing success, buoyed by its wildly popular first feature film, ‘The Last Course’ – the all-star drama/mystery just won a 2022 XBIZ Award for Gay Movie of the Year. The website currently boasts 26 original short films and 28 series episodes that include subsidiary brands Taboo Men, True Male and Deep Inside.
