LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Dirty Cinema has announced the release of Sexual Activity, which the studio described as a “three-part paranormal feature” starring Cleo Moon and Peter King.
In the new feature, Cleo and Peter play a young couple who are experiencing strange phenomena in their new home. And, like any good pair of characters in a movie with a haunted house at its center, rather than simply abandon the spooky spot in favor of relative safety and normalcy, Cleo and Peter decide to stick around and see just how fucking weird things get.
In Episode 1, Cleo and Peter have just moved in and already strange happenings are afoot, so they set up a night vision camera in attempt to capture the ongoing oddities. Of course, the camera also captures their own sexual dalliances in the process, an eventuality you have to believe the couple saw coming, unlike the poltergeists living in the food processor.
In the second episode, Peter and Cleo become aware someone has been in the house while they were sleeping, so they do what any normal, reasonable person would do in those circumstances: call the cops in a psychic for advice. The psychic looks around a bit and advises them to “call a demonologist and keep documenting.” (And no, a demonologist is not the same as a dermatologist, but if the ghost they’re pursuing has bad acne, I suppose they might want to call one of those, as well.)
After night two, “Peter conducts research with a book of demons and sets up a mic to ask it questions, with chilling results.” I’m not certain, but I think the “chilling results” problem might stem from the fact that Peter set up the microphone in the freezer. Peter sets up a second camera in the bedroom, after which “things get even wilder.”
In the third installment, the desperate couple makes one last attempt to figure out who – or perhaps what – is fucking with them in their new home. The psychic pops by again, this time recommending that they call a priest, because apparently the only thing this useless fucking psychic is good for is a referral to someone who actually DOES things.
This time, nothing strange happens in the house, but there’s a clue they might not be out of the woods yet, as Cleo begins acting strangely. Clearly, what they need to do is call the psychic again, so he can refer Peter to the Ghostbusters, or at perhaps someone who sells weapons.
“I wanted this to feel more like a horror movie than porn and achieved that with a stellar script, some fine acting, and used some movie magic techniques like the sickly green/yellow lighting they used the Blair Witch Project and ‘flinched it up’ for that effect and the countdown meter showing at the bottom of the screen,” explained Dirty Cinema owner/director/haunting victim Peter King. “It was all very effective in building suspense. Of course, it’s porn, and there’s some very hot sex. It got even hotter when Cleo was ‘possessed,’ which made it even more entertaining. This feature should be an excellent contender this awards season.”
