QUEBEC CITY – An interactive online “quiz” that tests fans’ knowledge about all things porn has a new sibling for adult dating enthusiasts.
Cost-per-acquisition network CrakRevenue rolled out its latest offering on Monday. Like the company’s The Porn Survey, The Dating Survey is a landing page that prompts users to answer a question about their online dating interests. Upon completion of the brief questionnaire, users are rewarded with a free trial or a discount that may be redeemed at one of CrakRevenue’s participating sponsors.
Affiliates receive $30 to $50 for each sale generated.
“Time has shown us one thing: Online surfers love to be rewarded,” said Frédéric Hains, CrakRevenue’s vice-president of products. “Of course, we reward these visitors with only the most enticing pay-per-sale offers in our lineup at the time. Each offer is constantly optimized based on conversion rate.”
According to Product Manager Jean-Michel Vincent, both of the surveys engage users by presenting multiple offers. The unusual approach converts traffic that otherwise may prove difficult to convert with direct offers, he noted.
“Both The Dating Survey and The Porn Survey convert like no other when promoted through an effective promotional technique such as a pop-under,” Vincent said. “Visitors view the survey as part of the website they’re on and less like an ad. That’s what makes these surveys so powerful.”
Hains said the network plans to launch other niche-specific surveys later this year. The Cam Survey and The Torrent Survey should bow soon, he said.
