NEW YORK, NY – COTR, Inc, a sexual intimacy products manufacturer and parent company of a variety of adult brands, including b-Vibe, Le Wand and The Cowgirl, has announced the appointment of Dr. Alix Agar, LMFT, CST, as a newly added Sexual Wellness and Intimacy Expert on the company’s Medical and Therapeutic Advisory Board.
“A respected voice in the field of clinical sexology and relationship therapy, Dr. Agar brings a wealth of expertise to guide COTR’s ongoing commitment to innovation, education and holistic sexual wellness,” the company said in the announcement.
“Dr. Agar is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex therapist with a PhD in Clinical Sexology,” COTR explained. “As the founder of Big Sister Therapy in Los Angeles, she has built a trusted practice that supports individuals and couples as they navigate sexual health, intimacy challenges and communication barriers. Known for her inclusive, client-centered approach, Dr. Agar empowers clients to embrace sexual wellness, strengthen emotional connections, and cultivate more fulfilling relationships.”
Agar is also a “sought-after speaker,” COTR noted, who has “presented at conferences and events nationwide, advancing critical conversations about sexual health, personal growth, and relationship dynamics. She is widely recognized for her efforts to dismantle societal stigma and create safe, nonjudgmental spaces where individuals can explore and embrace their authentic selves.”
Members of the industry will get the opportunity to meet Dr. Agar in person at STIMULATE 2026, where “she will be present at the COTR booth throughout the event,” COTR added.
“Dr. Agar will be on-site and available to speak with attendees — including therapists, counselors, and sexual wellness practitioners — about the clinical benefits of COTR’s product portfolio and how brands like Le Wand, b-Vibe, and The Cowgirl can be meaningfully integrated into therapeutic practice and client care,” the company explained.
