LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Now I know what the problem with my last relationship was: We were ahead of our time. Leo watches August and the AI sex doll get it on and discovers they share something he and August don’t – nice breasts. But, more importantly, they also share a true connection, something he and August lack. And while it’s probably a bit of a kick in the teeth to learn a sex robot connects better with your girl than you do, that’s been true of many women and their vibrators for years, frankly. The only real difference is when women talk to their vibrators, the vibrators generally don’t say anything in response.
Now, Leo has a dilemma. Does he try to repair his relationship with August, or just go golfing every time August has sex with AI Connie, to avoid the angst that grows in the pit of his stomach when he thinks about his wife having better rapport with a sex android than with him? In any event, Connie seems to have enjoyed playing the role in the Isiah Maxwell-directed scene, even if it made fictional Leo feel inadequate on some level.
“This was an exciting project, and it was definitely a task to play an AI sex doll,” Connie said. “I love projects that allow me to act, and I believe I did the character justice. I’m so glad that Isiah cast me. Days on set with Adult Time are always incredible, and I’m thankful to be part of this project.”
