With the advent and rise of tube and free content sites that were monetized by advertising instead of paid content, a group of industry executives who were well invested in the XXX business sat together to proactively figure out what their next business venture would be in a vertical that was seemingly dying.
Live broadcast media looked to be a viable space and one where there was room to create a signature brand name. In 2007 CAM4.com was born and introduced to the world – and the years that followed were tremendous.
Since its introduction, over 30,000 YEARS of cam shows have been broadcast on CAM4 and more than 100 million dollars have been paid out to performers around the world. And the company hasn’t stopped there!
