Buying and Selling Adult Sites, Part Eight

Posted On 15 Jul 2022
By : AdultSiteBroker

Bruc,e Friedman, CEO and Owner of Adult Site BrokerLast time, we began our conversation about how to buy an adult website and establishing what you wanted to buy as well as your budget. Today, let’s discuss how to look for your new website.

So, it’s time to look for your new website; where do you look? As you might guess from the name of our business, Adult Site Broker is a great place to start.

Adult Site Broker always has a nice variety of website and non-website properties for sale. We always have a broad variety of website and non-website properties for sale – and if there’s a specific type of site you want, we can also act as your buyers’ broker, to help you find the right site for you.

There are other places you can find sites listed for sale, like industry message boards, but to be completely frank, unless what you’re looking for is a low-end property, you’re probably not going to find what you’re looking for from such listings. There are also directories like Flippa.com, but again, they generally deal in very small, low-quality properties.

There are mainstream site brokers of course, but most don’t even work with adult properties, and those that do have often have just a few listings, usually not of the best quality.

If there’s a specific site you’re interested in, you can always try contacting the owners yourself – but take it from someone who does this for a living, it’s a major hassle and many times it can be difficult to even establish who owns any given adult site.

These days, almost all adult sites use whois privacy from their domain registrar, so when you send them an email it will be to an anonymous address. In most cases, those emails will receive no response – and most likely, they’re not even being opened or read.

Adult site owners tend to keep to themselves. Most don’t want anyone knowing who owns their sites, for a variety of reasons. Even as a professional adult site broker service, we often have a very difficult time finding the right person. If you don’t have our resources, I’m afraid your chances of reaching them are slim and none.

We have a huge database of sellers and generally know who owns what. And if it’s a website of note, if we don’t already know who owns it, we can always find out through our vast network of adult industry professionals. I’ll never say we know everyone, but our rolodex and network of industry contacts is about as close to comprehensive as you can get.

Adult Site Broker has these industry contacts and resources because we’ve built them up over 20 years. We’ve facilitated the purchase and sale of hundreds of adult sites over that time, far more than any other company. We know what adult industry buyers and sellers are looking for and we only deal in sites of high quality.

At the end of the day, people in the adult space generally buy and sell their sites in one of two ways: They either use us or buy directly from someone they already know.

Next month we’ll discuss gathering information on sites you’re interested in buying – and making an offer.

To contact Adult Site Broker with any questions about what you’re reading here or about buying or selling adult sites or companies, go to our contact page.
