LOS ANGELES, CA — At the 2017 Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, talented beauties greeted fans and signed autographs in Evil Angel’s convention booths. A couple of those special girls — Adriana Chechik and Holly Hendrix — won major recognition at the 2017 AVN Awards, known as “The Oscars Of Porn.” AVN voters also bestowed statuettes upon edgy, artistic Evil Angel directors in wide-ranging categories, reflecting the studio’s versatile, international approach.

“Evil’s directors are diverse in location and sexual specialties, but united in quality,” commented studio founder John Stagliano.

After Chechik spent much of the week cavorting with fans in Evil Angel’s AEE booths, AVN honored the superstar as the 2017 Female Performer Of The Year. Evil Angel director Jonni Darkko showcased Chechik’s multi-splendored charms in “Adriana Chechik: The Ultimate Slut,” a huge seller for the company. And AVN named one of Chechik’s scenes in that movie the year’s Best Oral Sex Scene.

Another of Evil Angel’s AEE booth beauties, Hendrix, won AVN’s coveted Best New Starlet award. Hendrix and Chechik performed together, with Markus Dupree, in a wild threesome AVN called its Most Outrageous Sex Scene. That’s in “Holly Hendrix’s Anal Experience,” also directed by Darkko.

Director/star Mick Blue, a partner in the BAM Visions production company that releases content through Evil Angel, was named AVN’s Male Performer Of The Year for the third consecutive time.

Long the home of an international cadre of pornographers, Evil Angel scored big in AVN’s foreign categories. Stagliano took Best Director — Foreign Feature for “Hard In Love,” a kinky lesbian love story. A “Hard In Love” scene starring Misha Cross and Nikita Bellucci won the AVN Award for Best Sex Scene In A Foreign-Shot Production. Spanish director/stud Nacho Vidal took the Best Director — Foreign Non-Feature statuette for star showcase “Nacho Loves Nekane.” Evil Angel mainstay Rocco Siffredi’s “Rocco One On One” won the Best Foreign Series award, while “Rocco’s Italian Porn Boot Camp 2” took the trophy for Best Foreign Non-Feature.

Fetish filmmaker Aiden Starr’s BBW vehicle “Marshmallow Girls 4” won the AVN Award for Best Specialty Movie — Other Genre. Transsexual porn pioneer Joey Silvera’s “Trans-Visions” took AVN’s Best Transsexual Series honor. Silvera wasn’t the only Evil Angel director recognized in a TS category — Dana Vespoli’s “Girl/Boy 2” had the year’s Best Transsexual Sex Scene, a gender-bent encounter starring female-to-male trans performer Buck Angel with gorgeous biological female star Valentina Nappi.
