LOS ANGELES, CA — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its return to the Spanish coastal town of Sitges for The European Summit (TES).

According to its promoters, The European Summit is Europe’s leading B2B conference for the online entertainment industries. Set for March 4-7 at the Hotel Calipolis, this executive gathering unites representatives from the online affiliate, billing, casual dating, domain name, mobile technology, website services and traffic segments, for educational sessions, networking, social events and more, all delivered with a European focus.

The stakeholders attending TES discuss a range of critical topics, such as the need to protect children, providing a vital venue for educating the industry about the benefits and services offered by ASACP.

According to TES’ Andreas Bischoff, it is important to support ASACP and to protect children online.

“A truly remarkable team of individuals,” Bischoff says, “ASACP should constantly receive support from our entire industry.”

Once more, TES will provide ASACP with a display table where information about the association will be available, along with prime banner placement to raise awareness of ASACP, as well as free show admission and a complimentary hotel room at the event’s venue.

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning will participate in the event, where he will meet and network with attendees while explaining the good work that the association does, and the many successes it has achieved during its more than 20-year history.

“TES has been an incredibly gracious supporter of ASACP and its mission of keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment,” Henning says. “TES’ generosity helps the association educate companies about its Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label and Child Exploitation Tipline.”

The rapid advance of new technology and other factors complicate operations for this non-profit child protection association that is tasked with doing more with less. Thankfully, corporations and other stakeholders are stepping up to show their support — but there’s still a long way to go.

“Europe is a fast-evolving arena for issues such as age verification and child safety,” Henning adds. “TES provides ASACP with a chance to influence this evolution while helping to protect at-risk youth — but we can only make a difference with your continued help.”

For more information, or to schedule a meeting, please contact tim@asacp.org.

About ASACP

Founded in 1996, ASACP is a non-profit organization dedicated to online child protection.

ASACP is comprised of two separate corporate entities, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection and the ASACP Foundation. The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. ASACP manages a membership program that provides resources to companies in order to help them protect children online. The ASACP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The ASACP Foundation battles child pornography through its CP Reporting Hotline and helps parents prevent children from viewing age-restricted material online with its Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label (www.rtalabel.org). ASACP has invested nearly 21 years in developing progressive programs to protect children, and its relationship in assisting the adult industry’s child protection efforts is unparalleled.
