Annette Benedetti, sex educator, intimacy coach, and host of the Talk Sex With Annette podcast, will speak at AMPLIFY Sexology on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Denver alongside Meyonna SwaVaye and Nicoletta Heidegger for a panel on how emerging platforms are reshaping public conversations about sex.
Benedetti will join fellow panelists Meyonna SwaVaye and Nicoletta Heidegger for the 5 p.m. discussion, “How BookTok, AI and New Media Are Changing the Stories We Tell About Sex.” The panel will explore how social platforms, artificial intelligence, podcasts, television, romance and erotic fiction, and online communities are influencing the ways audiences discover, discuss, and understand sexuality.

People are increasingly turning to digital spaces for information about topics like desire, relationships, pleasure and sexual identity. Benedetti’s panel will consider both the opportunities and risks this presents, including the impact of algorithms, misinformation, unrealistic expectations, AI-generated content, and virtual relationships.
The discussion will address who shapes contemporary sexual narratives, when entertainment can serve as meaningful education, the influence of algorithms on whose voices and stories gain visibility, and how sexual wellness professionals and creators can build content that reaches audiences without sacrificing accuracy or nuance.
