YNOT – Charlotte, NC-based video-on-demand provider AEBN has acquired 35-year-old gay adult studio Falcon Studios and plans to merge the producer with Raging Stallion Studios. AEBN acquired Raging Stallion in mid-February 2009. Both Raging Stallion and Falcon are located in San Francisco.
Raging Stallion chief Chris Ward will lead the combined studio, which joins the NakedSword family of companies — acquired by AEBN in 2007 — and the GunzBlazing affiliate program in AEBN’s gay division. Current Falcon President James Hansen will join the division as chief financial officer. Employees of both studios will be integrated into a single staff responsible for the expected production of nearly 60 new titles and more than 40 compilation titles annually.
The current Falcon Studios membership site will remain in Next Door Entertainment’s Buddy Profits affiliate network while Raging Stallion sites remain part of GunzBlazing. DVD distribution channels for both companies will not change. All titles from both studios are available for viewing at NakedSword.com.

Hansen said he is equally enthusiastic.

Putting the two companies’ incredibly talented staffs together will bring tremendous creativity and even higher production standards for what is already some of the best-quality adult features in the marketplace.”
Combining the companies brings together 12 gay DVD lines, each of which will maintain its own branding: Falcon, Raging Stallion, NakedSword’s Golden Gate, Mustang, Jocks, Monster Bang, Centurion Pictures, High Octane, Twinks.com, Fisting Central, FetishForce and HairyBoyz. In addition, Hard Friction, Stag Homme and Edger Nine are affiliated brands released via Raging Stallion.
“Our intent is to keep each of the important Falcon and Raging Stallion brands as individual entities, each with their own look and feel,” Ward said.
