NEGRIL, Jamaica – Professionals from the adult entertainment industry have started to arrive in Negril, Jamaica today for the first ever YP Jamaica gathering. YP, which stands for YNOT Party, is a casual networking opportunity for adult industry professionals who want to get away from the office for both business and pleasure. The Jamaica event was limited to a small number of adult industry professionals, and space was booked on a first-come first-served basis.”The YP is for like minded people who check attitudes and judgments at the door,” said YNOTBob, President of YNOT Network LP. “This event is popular because of the people who attend. Everyone will be on the ‘cheap and dirty’ plan and should have a great time.”
Traditionally, the YP event has taken place exclusively in Mexico during the fall, but due to the popularity of that event, YNOT decided to add a February gathering in Jamaica. Webmasters are shacking up at several resorts in Negril, and a variety of events are planned throughout the weekend.
“The YP events have achieved legendary status as the bonding event of the year,” reads the YP website. “At no other industry event are you going to network and party like you just don’t care, like you will at the YP. And what’s more… you will come home with new business, great memories and the best bang for your buck.”
YP Jamaica was put together largely through the tireless efforts of YNOT’s own LAJ, YNOT Vice President and co-host of the popular Hump Day Lunch Show on YNOT Radio, and YNOT’s own Twinkley, host of the weekly YNOT Radio show Pillow Talk.
“Putting together the YP2005 in Jamaica was not only a job but an adventure,” said LAJ. “As someone who’s used to moving a mile a minute, I’m going to give in and allow the locals, the scenery and the way of life to slow me down to a near grinding halt. Four months of hard work and preparation is finally over. These next four days will hopefully de-stress me like I’ve never needed so bad before. YP Jamaica isn’t the first time adult industry professionals have gathered in Negril for a good time. In past years, an event called “NegrilNet Bash” was thrown in Jamaica as a networking opportunity for industry professionals. That event’s organizer, known to the industry as Dokk, has worked with YNOT to make YP Jamaica a reality.
Attendees will gather tonight for a special opening night cocktail party hosted by CamZ.com. Other activities throughout the weekend will include jetski rides, a sponsored party at the Jungle nightclub in Negril, golfing at Negril Hills golf course, a private dinner at Margartiaville restaurant, a poker match, an afternoon catamaran cruise, cliff jumping, a closing night beach bonfire, and open bars throughout.
YNOT has also announced that YP2005 Mexico will take place in the fall after the summer Internext Expo convention.
