This week our In The Spotlight guest is Tal Farhi, the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of AdultBrowser.com. Tal runs the daily operations and makes sure that the company provides their surfers and Webmasters with everything they need.
LAJ: Greetings Tal! Pleasure meeting you at the last Internext. Please tell us a little about Adult Browser…
Tal: Our product is a completely customized IE browser that is pre-loaded with all the XXX content an adult surfer can handle. We are not a website but a fully functional free Internet browser. The members’ version is like having 500 websites worth of content for less than a $1.00 a day – a great XXX value, and one of the best offered today in my opinion. Our primary focus is to be the world’s best adult browser while giving the adult surfer more than just a website but also a really cool adult environment (one stop shop) and an interactive tool that is safe and password protected for XXX viewing.
LAJ: Are you targeting any specific group?
Tal: Our customers are your average XXX surfers, but we have all types of people – woman as well as many men, who like to use our product to surf the web and view its XXX content. Adult Browser can be used for all of your adult surfing needs!
LAJ: How long has the site been in business?
Tal: We started the company about 1.5 years ago.
LAJ: How did you end up in the adult Internet?
LAJ: What were you doing before?
Tal: I used to own restaurants and a catering business. I also attended Arizona State University.
LAJ: If you weren’t working in the adult Internet, what would you most likely be doing now?
Tal: I would be doing a customized mainstream browser for pharmaceutical types of companies.
LAJ: Have any comments regarding mainstream vs. adult Internet Webmasters?
Tal: I like the camaraderie amongst the Webmasters in our industry coming from the corporate mainstream side. I noticed that everyone here likes to help one another and I respect that about the industry. Some people are going to be asses no matter what, but I found that it is much easier to talk to a CEO in the adult industry compared to a mainstream CEO and accomplish business objectives and goals much faster.
LAJ: I couldn’t agree with you more, Tal. I noticed that right away when I made the transition myself a few years back.
Where do you see the Adult Browser going?
Tal: I predict that Adult Browser will grow to be a widely used browser in its free form and of course in its member version. Our product keeps surfers in a constant virtual adult state of mind. There is nothing else like it. Others have tried adult browsers in the past and some are still out there but no one offers what we do. Our look and feel is ahead of everyone else.
LAJ: Any industry predictions?
Tal: The industry will continue to shrink and the people that are innovative and risk takers will make things happen for themselves.
LAJ: Any other products you would like to promote that we can look forward to seeing in the future?
Tal: We will be at the major shows in the future. Internext was great for us. We are constantly enhancing the Adult Browser’s features, and we are also launching a gay version and multi-language version for our foreign surfers. Our biggest push is exclusivity license deals allowing some to own all the distribution and advertising rights for a certain country, i.e. ABItaly, ABGermany, etc., like a franchisee. There is an annual fee, and we do all the technical work and maintain the product. All the franchiser needs to do is market and sell advertising for certain areas within the localized browser as well as distribute CDs at certain adult related venues such as strip clubs, adult stores, trade shows and inside XXX magazines.
This is a huge opportunity for someone who wants to own rights to a country. Webmasters should be promoting Adult Browser!
LAJ: Wow… that sounds pretty fascinating!
Say, before we go, I want to say that you guys have really made an impact on the industry in a short period of time. It’s also nice to see how you have been utilizing YNOTMasters quite heavily for your promotion.
Tal: YNOT, in the short period of time that we have been utilizing your site and its offerings, has been tremendously helpful. You guys are top of our list as a trusted resource and avenue for advertising! I recommend that Webmasters spend their marketing dollars with sites like YNOT and also with GFY.
