LAS VEGAS, NV — During the summer 2006 Internext show, adult webmasters were inspired by offers of prizes and cash to wander the halls of the host hotel in search of not simply more business contacts and hot content, but treasure. So successful — and fun — was the Homegrown Video treasure hunt party that the biggest name in amateur entertainment is going to do it again this January in Las Vegas.According to a company press release, this January’s Internext treasure hunt will only be bigger and better than last August’s, all while paying homage to the 25th anniversary of Homegrown Video.

James Seibert of treasure hunt co-sponsor Hot Movies, says that this past summer’s hunt “couldn’t have had more fun if I was tied to five strippers and dropped in a vat of Jägermeister!”

Yet, along with help from the folks at VideoSecrets, this summer’s event should not only continue but also build upon the developing tradition of giving conventioneers a fun reason to work together answering Homegrown Video related trivia questions, getting their pictures taken with Homegrown Hotties, and making new industry friends during Internext.
