HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – XCritic, a website known for reviewing adult films since 2007, named the most recent crop of XCritic Awards winners. The awards honor the year’s best in adult films, as judged by the e-zine’s staff.

According to Editor Chris Thorne, the process this year was extensive, spanning the better part of a month spent re-viewing films nominated by staff members. Eventually, the gang narrowed down the list to winners in 22 categories.

“Our reviewers vote in almost every one of the major adult awards, so the XCritic Awards is a preview of some of the things to come this award season,” Thorne explained. “It’s sort of like the porn equivalent of the Golden Globe or Independent Spirit awards, which both come before the Oscars.”
