FARMINGTON, CT — Those who insist that pornographic material inspires violence may be right – but if a lover’s spat turned ugly is any indication, it appears to be the people who refuse to watch it who are most likely to be inspired to acts of non-consensual aggression!While little is known about 22-year-old James Grier’s taste in erotic entertainment, he might want to reconsider his criteria for choosing a girlfriend, given that the last one stabbed him in the back. Literally.

Apparently 18-year-old Afifya Lewis didn’t groove on the fact that her visiting sweetie likes to look at naked people getting it on. After the two had an argument early in the morning, neighbors called the police to complain about the disturbance. When officers arrived at Lewis’ apartment, they discovered something that the easily distractable Grier hadn’t realized… that he had been stabbed once in the back with a knife.

In addition to the knife wound, which required treatment at an area hospital, Grier also sustained wounds to his cheek and neck, courtesy of the keys that his girlfriend had slashed at him with when he insisted upon taking his pornographic video back home with him, contrary to her wishes.

As well as dealing poorly with obvious anger management and communication issues, the couple were in mutual violation of one another’s protective restraining orders. While Lewis has been charged with second-degree assault, both lovers will stand trial for having violated their protective orders and disturbing the peace with their violent bickering.
